Buxton International Festival

Buxton International Festival is one of the country’s most prestigious summer festivals. I have worked with this knock-out festival in the heart of Buxton for six years.

Last year’s festival far exceeded attendance expectations with sell-out events and accolades across the board including an International Opera Award nomination. On the back of this fantastic year, the 2025 Festival includes nine eagerly-awaited opera productions, including four new mini opera commissions, jazz gigs and high profile book talks with politicians, academics, journalists and fiction writers. It’s a potent combination in the heart of the Peak District.
